Hello, just got my F3 from 1111 sale on wednesday, but I seem to run into an issue with the Tracetogather app.

The app works, but it does not beep when using the safeentry gateway. I've tried following with no avail:

• Putting tracetogether as a "No restrictions" in Battery saver options
• removing MIUI optimisations in developer options
• on autostart, allowed all permissions, in App info
• changed to "Performance" for battery and performance
• locking tracetogether in recents screen

Fellow owners, do let me know if it works for you, and if there's any specific settings that you've done.

MIUI version used is 12.5.4, if thats a factor. And bluetooth is working fine, can use my bluetooth earpiece and my samsung smartwatch with the phone.

amazingly if you compare the weight and dimensions of both...so little and minute on paper makes so much difference!

My eyes still more use to AMOLED

F3 definitely feels more like a Pixel. X3pro seems like a toy for kids in comparison

What screen protector and casing you using for your x3 Pro? Seems like it covers full screen...

I am also on TPG.

You must use TPG dialler. It is called TPG 4G voice app from Google play store.

I'm using TPG on the F3. can just dial out. You may need to enable volte to use the dialer.

at the phone app, type in *#*#86583#*#* to enable volte.

just curious, for those TT bluetooth cant work on offical rom, if flash to custom rom or eu rom, does it work? or is just hardware issue cant fix at all or is for TT developer to fix. nothing to do with f3?

Same issues where the sentry gateway doesn't detect the phone. And after changing the "battery/Bluetooth" settings, on the app, tap near as recommended, it still doesn't work for me.

Just a quick update on this:

trying the power button area yields no result too.

I reset my phone, but it seems like the same thing happens.

Went to Xiaomi service centre today; they took my device in to do checks. Lets see if they are able find anything wrong with the bluetooth hardware.

I tried the Safeentry gateway app on the phone at the Xiaomi store entrance. There was an error message on their app, telling the recipient's phone to restart its TT app (aka my poco F3). Didn't take a photo of that error message.

From my observations, it could be caused by different (read: lower quality) bluetooth chip or different brand of chip. If thats the case, then personally I don't think changing a firmware will help.

Will keep everyone here updated when I get news about it. I will bring in multiple APK versions of TT, set up, and test in front of them to verify

I tested with 4 different Safe entry reader

my other phone x3pro in the pocket in the other side so far will beep too!

F3 range is weak!
But luckily it still works!

It depends on the reader as well. Sometimes the reader will beep when I walked past it with the phone in my pocket.

Same here too, after I switch from x3 to f3 my tracetogether app cannot tap those scanning machine.

Bluetooth pairing all working fine but just cannot tap those scanner.

Any idea why this is so?

Same - switch from x3 to F3 and TT app can't scan anymore. (Was it because we switched from X to F ?!)

tracetogether app and safeentry readers still works for me this morning.. though I have to hold it super near with the power button side towards the readers and it is slower with 1sec delays.


later afternoon I go out to test on more including those smartphones and tablets readers too...

Having problems scanning my F3 on the TT Bluetooth gantry, from what I read, is it need to scan using the power button area? Any other tips?

Anyone gotten their set with the charger plug that 2 pin smaller than usual? Not sure which region charger but I need to use big adapter attach to original charger to use..
Any solution for this?

PS: I'm also a victim of TT app not working.
