I don't think is ori, they told me is OEM. If you can find the ori battery, can also bring to them and ask them change also.$48? Any idea what battery they use? Ori?

I replaced my old mi mix with them and so far so good after 2 years, use it as spare phone for alarm and browsing.
I think still worth it. Snapdragon 800 series is still powerful enough for simple task, provided nothing else is spoilt.Let me think if it's worth replacing haha. I used to have one old Mi Max as alarm, with half of the touchscreen not working but now F3 took over that role haha.
My mum got her Redmi Note 6 Pro batt replaced by them 2 times le and so far so good. Unless u get your batt replaced by the phone mfr themselves... u won't be able to get the original batt.$48? Any idea what battery they use? Ori?

Oh that i not sureWow Note 6 Pro quite many years already.
I understand OEM but just curious what battery they use, whether is it matching the original capacity.
Nvm I ask MisterMobile directly hahahaha.Oh that i not sure
i did a check on aliexpress , bm4y cost US 9.49 to 10.16 ...... equivalent to 12.75 to 13.63
shopee 15.15 can apply $1 coupon to 14.15
compared to shop change $48 + your transport
dont need to think about original battery ... as the original battery factory supplier not interested in selling low quantity to resellers or us consumers ... they rather sell quantity of thousands to big brand
from my experience with previous battery changes ... these fake original battery only have 2/3 of claimed capacity ..... means can expect around 3000mAh , ok for indoor use not frequent usage outdoor
@TheOutsider U should join HWZ insider...I was reading on battery replacement again and found that quite a number of people suggesting replacing with BM53 instead of BM4Y. BM53 is 5000mAh instead of BM4Y 4520mAh. Not sure how it is really going to work.
Some suggested Nohon BM53 haha. Have you tried changing the battery yourself? How to install back the back cover ya after removing? Do we need to purchase the glue/seal separately?

the connector pins may be different layout .... they are not universally compatible .... those who said compatible maybe they tried .....I was reading on battery replacement again and found that quite a number of people suggesting replacing with BM53 instead of BM4Y. but going by my 2/3 rule , you don't gain 500mAh boost ... only 2/3 of that ....... if it doesn't work u get more trouble trying to sell that not compatible battery away at a loss .... possible damage to phone for sending electricity through wrong connector layout
i tried nohon before ... same 2/3 rule applies .... disappointed me since their price is higher ........ difference is their battery temperature sensor is real while others are fake
yes i changed all myself
no I haven't glue back yet .... will have to .... but my future recovered phones will be strictly tabletop wifi only , not much difference to glue it securely to withstand holding and swinging around , will probably secure at corners and use external casing to hold it together
glue is not included in battery package
original battery in degraded state , as long not bloated until push the screen outwards ....... is always better than battery replacement .......... all battery replacement are imitation with 2/3 capacity , there is no real original fresh new battery , no point asking people ..... who selling fake battery dare to tell u their's is real , the staff see naive customer then say YES Original
