I see, however, the official Mi firmware page only has X3 NFC, not Poco X3 though. Are they the same?

From what i read in the mi forum just now.
If you already turn it off before you update to 12.0.4, then you can see the option to turn it back on.
After you update to 12.0.4, no option to turn off miui already. Have to root and use something like shell command.
So better don't update first before you disable the miui optimization.
I still waiting for F3, so not sure if it is working.

not true, I turn it off b4 updating n the option is still not there after update. is fine for me since I using vidmate instead of ytv

My YouTube vanced also unable to work.

As for now, I just use expressvpn for free trial 7 days. Go to India or Argentina servers. Subscribe YouTube Premium only less than $2 per month, less than a drink, save u the headache. Only need to do once and recurred monthly charges automatically. Just terminate the VPN. Just use Google Maps find a place like shopping mall, get the address and fill up when prompt to fill a local address and postal code.

Wont. Default is global rom. Factory reset also is still global rom
Unless originally is china rom, u install playstore yourself, then factory reset will remove it
