Normally I use the USB ports from a LBNIO extension plug with the original type c cable from Xiaomi Mi 8. Max 15W output. Just curious why my Poco F2 doesn't accept "slow" charging anymore... Question now is should I bring to the service center on this and would they even care that slow charging is not working for my phone anymore...

Maybe it's not charging cos the voltage isn't high enough? Is the plug at least 5V? Does Poco F2 Pro accept 9V also?

Ok just saw your 2nd post. Even charging through PC USB doesn't charge ah? Maybe you consult them in FB first.

Would Xiaomi service center entertain this kind of weird problem? I bought the Poco F2 from their shopee official store. I still kept the receipt.

For changing issue, are you guys on MIUI 12? Notice my Max 3 after upgraded to Miui12, having this issue too. No issue when I'm still under 11.

I have 2 Poco F2 Pro (1 belongs to my wife). Both are on MIUI 12. Only mine has charging problems. Her phone still charges nicely with either slow or fast charger...

Maybe the motherboard inside some component something wrong? Last time my Galaxy Note 5 initially fast charging quite fast but dunno is it cos i use wireless a lot and it was hot, after some time the Fast Charging seems to be gone even though it display Fast Charging but i think i never hit 2000mA while charging anymore. Somemore sometimes it can drop to 500mA but still show Fast Charging lol trying to smoke me.

Did they say what could be the cause?

I tested mine with MIUI 12, both normal and quick charge working properly.
Anker for normal charge, and a 65W charger for notebook/tablet/mobile phones for quick charge.

If they are that confident, it probably means you are not the first. Did you have to wipe your phone?

They "fixed" it within 2 hrs. Changed the sub board. I am sitting here in the service center watching them try to charge my phone using the normal "slow" charge. Will report back again if it's working.

Okay, proven to work with normal chargers inside the mi service center. Will bring the phone home and use for few days to try it out. No $$$ involved as it is under warranty.
