Can any of you share the interview questions with me?? Beside the usual interview questions like introduction and personality questions. Thanks in advance
Questions I faced during the interview.

-If you are selected to be a NPCO, what do you think your job roles are?
-As a NPCO, your neighborhood had a high robbery rate, what are ways you can do to alert your neighborhood?
-Do you like to work individually or in a team?
Others were some of the basic interview questions. Make sure to read up more about SPF before you go for the SA. Know about the SPF units and what they do. Hope this will help you out! @shamanster

I wonder if SIM-UOL graduate direct entry into SO or already a JO with rank of A/Insp?

It's direct entry insp post for fresh graduates!

From i know it's NOT a gd idea for those existing regulars to get promoted juz thru mere study cos it's not guaranteed for immediate promotion. Gd performance is the main factors for promotion..

I was a regular in the Army. Wanted to do something different. It gives me the opportunity to continue serving and to make a real direct impact to the community.

SA back in Dec and Medical in Jan. The waiting is killing me!

Hi bro, can I know if you were serving when you applied for SPF? Or did you resign first then applied? I'm considering a career switch from the SAF too. Currently in SAF for 5 years.

Hi bro how was the PTU scheme like? If selected for PTU what what is next step? IPPT at SOC base?
Thank you for your reply and your information @Prxttyprxck. I did not do the psychometric test as I believe they got a previous record I do. Last time I was selected for PTU scheme but I got released due to Muscles tear, recovered and reapplied for Direct Sergeant Scheme again. So how's your waiting going now? Did u get any news yet?

Would like to ask the opinion of everyone here,

I attended my medical screening couple weeks ago. I declared an panic attack which occurred 5 years ago which I was referred to the hospital from the polyclinic. I went to see the psychiatrist for only 4-5 times and then stopped going as felt better and up til now, I've not had a recurrence of an attack but since I declared it, the clinic requests a memo from the psychiatrist stating I'm fit for service.

I'm scheduled to see the psychiatrist in June, hopefully he can give me the memo and close my case for good. But a part of me feels that I might have shot myself in the foot as now SPF will be aware of this incident and might use it as a reason to reject me even if the psychiatrist certifies me fit for duty.

Do you think this is so or should I just remain hopeful until the rejection letter comes in?:slant:

(ps: even the doctor at shenton said i was "very honest" when he read my medical declaration form)

All the best. Remember to bring the original and photocopies of the required documents

Thank you so much! Waiting for this since March ☺️
Edit: For my PSLE cert, the photocopied is actually a little blur. Like it’s readable and all but will it affect the procedure? I only received the email today and I didn’t have a printer at home, so I had to use the back up. My Olevels and Alevels certs are quite clear though! Ahh my bad I should have just gone to a printer shop LOL

If during vsc period, wanna switch to regular have to resign from vsc and apply as per normal? Is there any scheme to switch from vsc to regular?

Are there any complications for doing so?

I’m not very sure about that, but I’d heard that even though you’ve completed the 6 months training for VSC, you still have to do another 9 months training if you sign on as Inspector.
