Did you apply for the Direct entry inspector or Sergeant? My application for inspector is still in process.

I applied for sergeant. But didn’t get through...

Anyway went for SPF direct entry Sergeant medical check up from late July to August? Any news from SPF? And do you guys roughly know when the next intake if we won’t make it for November intake? Is it Jan?

Attended medical on in August, might not be v relevant coz mine is for vsc haha ps.

Low as in you're skinny? From what I've asked my colleagues if you're skinny or more on the bigger side they would ask you a pic of yourself. Passing the medical check up I'm not so sure. All the best for your medical check up.

Hello,

I am expected to enlist on 8th Nov(PTP SAF) and i have a medical examination on 5th Nov. I emailed SPF regarding this and they told me that as long as i dont receive a vocation yet in the army they will absorb me into the SPF if everything is sucessful. Just want to enquire if anyone went through something similar? If i passed my medical on 5th Nov will they immediately pull me out of army? Dont want to waste time in tekong. I just completed my diploma with NYP 3 months ago. Also, i went for the selection 1 month ago and they informed me about the medical 3 weeks later. I know i should have applied earlier too like 3 months prior to enlistment.

If you pass SA, it should take about a month before Parkway Shenton sends you an email for medical screening.

i went for the board interview recently and didn't make it. really sad about it as i thought this is the career for me and i really wanted the job, also its so many months of effort and nerves and now its all down the drain. wonder if some of u can share how u constructed your answers for board interview, and why you want to join spf? maybe i wasn't able to convince them i want it enough..

Went for medical checkup on Mid July. still no news le. How about you?

I went early August. I got the acceptance email alrdy they called if I’m able to join the November intake... so 5 and 8 is the bond sign and intake. 13 nov I will start my residential training

I will but i think it is best for me to find out what they want before i decide to try again.. it will be foolish otherwise.
