SPF Recruitment won't disclose reasons why they rejected your application.

Possible reasons can range from giving unsatisfactory answers during your panel interview, faring badly in the psychometric test, a failure of your medical screening or even some conflict of interest in your family background during their screening process (ie. criminal background)

If you don't mind me asking, how far did you make it in both times you applied?

not shortlisted for both attempts means need to work on your resume (if you are still retrying), align with their expectations

how old are you? don’t think this affects since there’s is technically no age limit according to them

just curious to people who reapplied for SPO position, did you change your answers to their interview questions..

i went for the board interview recently and didn't make it. really sad about it as i thought this is the career for me and i really wanted the job, also its so many months of effort and nerves and now its all down the drain. wonder if some of u can share how u constructed your answers for board interview, and why you want to join spf? maybe i wasn't able to convince them i want it enough..

I think that you shouldnt script your answers as the interviewer could tell. I find that it will be better to give your candid and spontaneous answers. Since you can never predict their questions. Reading up on home affairs and latest Police technology might help too. If you want it badly enough, keep trying! it's not easy coz i think the force is cutting down on intake presently. ATB!

yes i did read up on home affairs and latest police technology.. i predicted what they would ask me and actually, i did predict it correctly. perhaps i was just not convincing enough in other areas.. thank u for your advice, i'll definitely try to do better for the next try

As long as your friends meet the following criteria, it'll be fine. Although I strongly recommend asking someone like a former teacher or colleague to be your referee as they would be in a better position to attest to your work ethic.

- Known for at least 1 year
- Cannot be your family members or anyone who is blood related to you
- Cannot be a NSF (currently serving national service)
- Must Be working in a full time occupation which is contributing to CPF
- Must Be at least 21 years of age
