Tbf the stuff I asked about are related to DEI which they do give a clear indication of the salary bracket for First class and 2nd upper in the same group followed by the other honours

Oooo good to know...that makes sense since their salary range is bigger(from what i read on website)

All this infos can be found online and their website if u look hard enough.

1) 6 months before grad
2) diploma
3) answered in 2
4) 6 months residential stay at hta

Hi guys so i got a few qns. Take note that I currently just started 3rd year of poly in April this year rn in internship.

1)When should I start signing up for pre-enlistee SPF direct-entry seargant?

2)If I sign up for the pre-enlistee DES will I be considered a sign on as a diploma holder or 'O'level graduate? (Im not sure whether the sign on is meant for after NS or its at the time of pre-enlistee period)

3) IF I will be considered as 'O'level graduate then shld I wait for my diploma or should i just sign up for pre enlistee DES anyways

4)IFFFF i even get accepted, just wondering am i basically still going through the same thing as other SPF NSFs during the 2 years in NS or will i be in a completely different situation because they said you will be regular police officers

Sorry if some of these qns are dumb or can be found on the website but I genuinely wanna know :)
Thanks in advance!

Hi, just curious why you want to sign on as a DES.
Do you intend to further your studies after you ORD?
Are you interested in SPF as a long term career?

Because signing on as a pre-enlistee means you're bonded for 5 years which is quite a long time to wait if you want to get a degree.

Yeah that's why I'm asking seeing if anyone here who's inside spf or has friends inside spf with 2.0 lol literally doesn't hurt to ask.

Also who's reddevil0728??? Is he some guy in spf?? Why do I see him attacking people almost on every single page. Yes people do check spf website and Google for info, maybe they are just here for a second opinion?

If you have nothing insightful to give, you don't have to go around replying people to research themselves or check passive aggressively if they went to Google. Like I said some people here just want a second opinion, you don't have to be so negative about everything.

So many people here have been so nice giving good advices and you're just around being sarcastic, negative and just be putting people down in general.

There’s a difference between “2nd opinion” and what’s factual information.

If something is a fact, there isn’t a need for “opinion” if there is a need for opinion, then it isn’t a fact anymore.

Sometimes it’s about pointing someone to where they can find the facts in case they don’t know where.

Not sure if you yourself is enough to represent "people". Cause there are those who don't go research.

Saying something that you don't like to hear doesn't make what i say negative. I am just putting things into perspective and being a realistic. No point make everything super rosy. Being nice doesn't mean i tell people things that they want to hear, being nice can also mean i tell people what is realistic.

If you see that as negative and putting down and sarcastic, then i can't help you cause that's your own feelings.

Dont sell yourself short! Just do your best with what you have right now. There are sponsorships you can apply for while working in SPF (3rd year onwards)

I wouldn't consider it as attacking hahaha, don't take his comments personally, but with a pinch of salt. Kinda like the encik that shows tough love to the recruits LOL. :s13:
