Quite sian, finally got tea session after sending my application 3 times however during the tea session i felt they were more like going through the motions, like they routinely just went along with 5 question, listen then end. Anyway my CNB inspector was unsuccessful... donno if it will affect my SPF application ?

I think a good GPA from a local uni + CCA records will get you halfway through the door already. That is what I have observed over the years amongst the people I know as well as online.

SPF and CNB app are separate so may not affect because I got rejected instantly for the CNB DEI app but my SPF one now pending outcome after medical

1) 18 May 2020 - applied online via careers@gov.
2) 24 Jul 2020 - attended Tea Session with SPF DAC & HR.
3) 28 Jul 2020 - received email from SPF Recruitment that job application was unsuccessful.

Felt that during the tea session it was to make up the numbers and going through motion. Thought I did well during tea session as it was smooth and communicative. Disappointed to be knocked out so early during after the first round.

DEI train separately from the NSF inspector batch
even if you were commissioned as a NSPI (NS Police Inspector) you will have to go through the 9 month DEI training again when you sign on (you must have a degree to sign on as DEI so no direct sign on from NS)


The rank itself is already different iirc reg is INSP for nsf is NSPI or NSI

Intake how big also no use if they deem you unfit in any of their criteria.
