Also, I've applied for SPF DES three times already. All rejected, even after medical. So, just a heads up..even if you go for medical doesnt mean you are in. Dont be hopeful like me last time hahaha if you are really keen in joining the public service, SPF is not the only option

Hey guys just an update I have just done my SA which is just psychometric test? So I am guessing I am left with 2nd interview and medical check up if I manage to pass. *Cross Finger*

Asked the standard tell me about yourself, talked about ns and what do i think being a police officer means, why never sign on other depts but chose spf etc..... felt i was bit too casual when answering

For the medical. Is it like actual clinic checkup for mx scheme?

Or they just give u a medical questionnaire to fill in? (this is just given to me)

Hey guys, I have just went for my medical checkup, during the audiometry test the doctor told me I have a medium bad to bad result on my right side of ear also I did a surgery for my left shoulder due to dislocation when i am serving NS, Anyone have any knowledge whether does it heavily impact the chances of entering the spf?

Would have been better to ask the doctor who reviewed your results during the consultation tbh
I know of people who got accepted despite having prior shoulder surgery but it really do be case by case depending on severity etc
Audiometry that one can't really say cus idk anyone with bad results
