Hi,

I also just received an email from SPF (DES). But,I have to verify some details first, before they send me the interview information (3-5 working days). It’s so weird that one day before they asked you for interview :s11:

Anyway, I applied early of May. Now, then I received my interview information.

25/05. I got the email for SA on 22/06.

Hi all, I applied for DES this morning (11am ++) and received a confirmation email saying that my application has been received. However around 1pm, I went to check the career@GOV website and saw my status changed from "submitted" to "unsuccessful" but I haven't received any rejection email. I suppose I have to wait 6 months and reapply again?

ps. I have indicated my availability to start work is only after Mar 2021 as I'm still currently a student. Does my indication of availability to start work somehow caused a rejection as there is about 8-9 months before I graduate?

Any advice and opinions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Recommended that DES should apply 3 months before graduation and DEI should apply 6 months before graduation

Personal loan

Civil servants who owe more than 3 times their salary are considered financially embarrassed and must declare it immediately. (Excluding secured loans such as housing).

So how much you owe matters, best to let your recruitment officer know if they don't already ask about it.

From what I know if u applied too early either they instant reject or after awhile during submitted phase, they will call you to check on you if u are graduating yet or graduated already etc as they will read your application pretty quickly.

Hi, I have just check the status again and it changed to "submitted". I'm really confused, from my last post on 24 July, the status changed from "submitted" to "unsuccessful" to "submitted" again. Any idea why did the status changed again?

so it's safe to assume that for my case, my application is being rejected instantly right? Cause i really don't understand the rationale of my status being changed to submitted again haha

Yeah for your case as long as no rejection email just take it as still in the running
if you want to be extra sure then call them and ask

Guys just to ask. Does anyone get accepted before when they still have loans from bank

I would say its the same as any other govt job. Not based on how much you have in loans

But more of ur credit rating.
Depending on the clearance level
CAT A or higher is strict to A rating.
G50 or Cat B and below. A to b or c but c u need explain why with proof.

You can apply to get ur credit rating from credit bureau. This is how they determine ur credit cards also anyways

^based on my assumptions not confirmed to be truth.
