more often than not, by the time me came back from leave or MC, rest assured there'll be piles of work for me to clear
every single time

boss dun even bother if there's any one to cover my work in my absence

It is like that one
The people in office will only settle the very urgent tasks, anything they can delay till you come back, they will delay. So i don’t bother if there is any ‘important’ work i have not done when i wanna take mc. I will just take.
Becos i’m sure the really important ones will be dealt with. Anything that is left for me to do when i come back from mc, means it actually is not that important.

Rarely take MC. The few times when I was really sick, I couldn't even leave the bed to go see the doctor. Just managed to call office, tell them I'm dying and slept.
