I was about to share that today i apply for annual fee waival via phone automated machine. I think their system improves a lot as compared to previous years as i gotten the approval instantly. Previously need to wait few days for sms notification or something
Today was straight away approve and message saying the waival will be reflected on my internet banking within 3 working days. 1st time that easy and straight forward.

Are you referring to annual fee waival or other types of fee waival?

Used to do it via ibanking msg which it have a option to waive the annual fees, so far manage to waive it w/o any issue which i think is the easiest option.

Does internet banking style approves immediately? :)

Im nicely surprise the call in automated machine can immediately approve right after I keyed in the cc no. It goes on to mention it'll reflect in 3 work days on internet banking. Don't even need to go thru human. :s13: very great improvement indeed

Just apply for AF waive.

Through the online digibot, it says that will tell me the result in a business day.
Through the phone bank, it says that will contact me in three business days.

Not instant waive. Wait...

For those that is going for the 8% online dining and 3% offline dining. Please beware that the $15 rebate cap is inclusive of the 0.3% base.

I spent $5000 on dining using this card in Nov and is getting a BIG FAT $0 for bonus rebate. Because 0.3%×$5000 already maxed out the $15 cap. RIDICULOUS!!!

The same issue applies for the 3% for online shopping.

wow, u spent $5k on dining in one month? high ses dining or everyday grabfood? :s13:

but i agree with you about the cap for different types of transactions... very troublesome. it can influence how or where we choose to patronise, so i don't like.

if used a 1.5% cashback like amex tcb or sc unlimited, can clock $75 for $5k spent liao... wasted.

Always look at the small print. Banks cannot afford to run a lossing business.

Think you have got to redact.
