No more people bank, phone and appeal thru customer service get rejected. I spent only 400 to 500 per month on this card as rebate only for Watson and spc. Called and cancelled.

Topping up of Grab with this card used to count towards credit card spend if you are on Multiplier .... not sure if this is still the case .....

It still does. Actually simi spending also count for Multiplier, even the normally excluded categories for the card.

They did not waive my annual fees after two tries (once via phone, another via online digibot). After waiving year after year for many many years.

Can understand the connection to my low card usage but I had a huge housing loan with dbs, so puzzled why they are not treasuring the “relationship”. I guess I’ll do likewise in time to come… and gradually giving them less business and leaving less funds with them…

Dbs been doing charity for the longest time. So they're tightening up now.

Number of cards or loans with them isn't how they correlate and determine to charge annual fee anot. It's the amount you spend.

Yes, agree and understand.
They have their rights from business angle.

I have my choice too. If they don’t do “charity” for my card, then I won’t likewise for letting them earn my $$.

no right or wrong. Down to how businesses want to do it.. and consumers react with a wide range of responses.

Not how much u spend... there are others they look into. My DBS cc, 1 month about $200-300 spent but yet fee waived. Anyway, I just cancelled my DBS cc last week cause seldom use.
