Dang, my annual fee waiver not approved. First time in 10+ years. Need to find another card for town council conservancy charge and supermarkets.

The utilities promo only 1% upfront instant rebate. The other 2% is not instant. Need wait up to 2 months for it to be credited.

more of you cannot assume cancel means annual fee auto waived.

Just to clarify, I used the bot to asked for waiver first, then use the bot to cancel. The cancellation is immediate. The waiver is denied the next day. Need to send a msg to a real CSO to get the annual fee reversed.

the annual fee should not be charged if the card is cancelled since it is paid for the upcoming 12 months not the past 12 months. the bank should refund the annual fee if it has been deducted or charged..

That promo is until June right?

in the site it mention only recurring payment. So what’s a recurring payment vs just a normal payment?

Have to compliment POSB. Reported my faulty cc yesterday after lunch. Reached home and my new cc was inside the envelop. Super fast.... Good service.

I always think AMEX is the only doing good in providing customer service but POSB impressed me too

This type is fast because they want you to spend. Nothing special.

See if they are as fast if you are taking money from them.

UOB take sometimes for new card

Dun think so, my spending is only maybe 1 week once in SPC, Watson and Sheng siong... Per month spending less than 1k. BTW, I use my Amex more. My experience, Amex delivered new card to my door within 3 days.

U can say nothing special as u might have better service from another bank but personally, I feel it is great service to have a new card within hours.

Just a simple compliment for the bank, of cause I will complain if the service sucks.

UOB take sometimes for new card

UOB?? Their process is damn slooooooowwwww and "stupid". I applied for their cc, submitted my IRAS. After days, received an email requesting my past 3 months pay slips. I called the CSO n complained, they need to upgrade their system, for donkey yrs, my monthly salary is credited into UOB, can't they intelligently use the information from there? I asked them to cancel my application.

If just local banks, I only used 2 banks.

1. DBS/POSB
2. UOB

The card that stays with me the longest since 2006 is Amex cause they have not charge me a single cts for annual fee
