A long forgotten card now rediscover it's usefulness. Just sharing from 01 Sep to 31 Oct 2022
. Linked to SimplyGo take bus train 5% rebate no min spend
. If use Geneco for electricity 5% rebate no min spend recurring payment mode
But what after 31 Oct 2022 ? Then Nov look for other cards? So troublesome. Want to give should give one whole year IMHO

Rebates are capped at $5 per month. So max only can get $10 rebate nia. :s22: And based on past experiences on similar promo, the cashback credited to your account takes damn long wan. But anyway, better than nothing.

I have the Everyday MasterCard for many years. And I have frequently used the 'Pay by Installment' function and usually choose the 6 mths period option. All these years there is not service fee. Today I was about to do the same for a transaction I had made on my MC when I saw that there will be a 3% Service Fee imposed on the repayment plan. Lucky I saw it and did not proceed.

I contacted Customer Service and they mentioned that the bank has started this year charging service fee. I (after the call) checked the entire year of credit card bill and no service fee was imposed. So it seemed that the service fee was implemented recently for the 6 month repayment option. The CS informed me that there is no service fee for 3 months repayment option (which I did so).

Those using the Pay by Installment function may want to take note. I checked with the CS whether I can request for a wavier on the service fee if I proceed forward. CS informed that he requested last week for one customer but it was denied by management.

Hi all,

Other than sheng song and Watson, can we still earn rebates on other spending like dining and retail if unable to hit $800/month?

For those using posb everyday for SimplyGo until 31 Oct 2022, I think it is based on posting date which means a few days after your actual trip transaction date. That being the case I think can stop using about 3-5 days before 31 Oct 2022 since it will not be in time for the bank to compute the cashback for this card for Oct 2022
