Hey guys, will be looking for a AIO printer in this PC show. Would be great if someone will recommend me some options.

Specs that i would need include:

1. Full duplex printing
2. Colour printing
3. AIO capabilities (Scanner Copier Printer)
4. Cheap aftermarket / 3rd party ink options
5. Wireless would be a bonus
5. <$250

Currently im looking at the Brother DCP-J725DW but other recommendations would be great. Thanks. :D

Canon MG3170 or MG5270. Epson ME900WD also. As for cheap after market for ink idk. I deal in 3rd party toners only. :/

inkjet specs all roughly the same. Both can print copy scan + have wireless.

Basically 3050 is the older model. 3070A is the new model to replace 3050.

3050 runs on 2 ink cartridges 1 black 200 pages @20.50 1 tri-color 200 pages @25.90
3070A runs on 4 ink cartridges
Black 250 pages @16.90
Cyan 300 pages @15
Magenta 300pages @15
Yellow 300 pages @15

Sorry, cannot comprehend the statement.

Best in market is HP. Just that you aren't normally able to get the good models at shops. Go to the distributors.

Anyone with laser printer questions can come in and ask !!

Currently in the market the top 3 brands are Fuji Xerox, Brother and Samsung.

List the specs of printer that you are looking in this way so hwzers can assist you better!

1. Mono or Colour
2. Print, Print Scan Copy (3in1) or Print Scan Copy Fax (4in1)
3. Printing capacity per month
4. Budget
5. Other extra requirement like wireless, iphone printing etc.

Cheers !!

It is up to individual.

For me, I based it on
1. Warranty coverage
2. Toner pricing
3. Pricing compared to competitors based on same functions
4. Print out resolution

So far HP is undesirable, probably you are talking about corporate printers :/

Please enlighten all of us if you think found a better HP laser printer. Good things must share !!

I have both HP 8500A plus before i upgraded to 8600Aplus. As well as a couple of old HP AIO mono laserjets which is still working for > 3yrs. No doubts that the laserjet is more reliable but it costs much more.

1. Warranty - standard 1 yr but usually under promotion, you can easily get free 1 additional yr which i gotten for my purchase. Extending it to 3 yrs is less than $50 if you r a best denki member and $100 for 5 yr under harvey norman. Didn't really bother me as it is for company and we bought 5 yr under HN.

2. feature wise for the HP 8600A plus for the price point. None of other printer at this price point can replace the feature - especially full duplex for copying, printing, scanning and faxing. The next one that comes close is the better laserjet series which costs twice as much.
I am not too concern about the reliability as HP will replace if it is faculty within the warranty period only problem is the trouble of setting up the new replacement printer which took time.
Any one who has a better recommendation kindly advise. I am looking for replacement to the 8600A plus

3. Toner through distributors is low for inkjet - less than $100 for full set of black + 3 colours much lesser than we pay for the laserjet cartridge. This is the reason - consumables and price - why we use the inkjet despite the less than reliability vs laserjet.

4. Price wise - we usually get lower than what is quoted through distributors. So we usually compare promo price vs what we get.

5. wifi and setting up for HP very easy, not so sure about other brands.

Yup Brother HL-2130 dont have duplex. You may want to consider Brother HL-2240D $148 (Duplex but no network) or HL-2270DW $228 (Duplex with network and wireless)

Samsung also have one model ML-2955ND $238 (Duplex with network)

Dont have less than $150 :/

I need color laser printer for home use. My current fuji xerox C1110B's drum gear broke. Bought in Nov 2009. My samsung color laser bought in Mar 08 uplorry then I bought fuji xerox. Fuji xerox used 2yr 6mths, better than samsung used only 1.5yr.

Heard fuji xerox's new LED printers good quality. Wat is the price for CP105 and CP205 and their cartridges? Got pre-IT fair promotion? Hehehe
