I need color laser printer for home use. My current fuji xerox C1110B's drum gear broke. Bought in Nov 2009. My samsung color laser bought in Mar 08 uplorry then I bought fuji xerox. Fuji xerox used 2yr 6mths, better than samsung used only 1.5yr.

Heard fuji xerox's new LED printers good quality. Wat is the price for CP105 and CP205 and their cartridges? Got pre-IT fair promotion? Hehehe

Besides the duplex one so big and bulky - 17kg imagine I cash and carry that time from expo back home, gf and I carry it up 3 floors of stairs (that time no lift), sibeh shiong.

Anyway, it is my printer's fuser that the roller is spoilt. Very expensive right the fuser?

Looks like I will wait for 105b and 205 this coming IT show.

Roller cheap but fuser cause about 100-200 so might as well buy new one since no longer under warranty

I'm currently using Brother HL-3040CN and I find that I don't need color + all the toners are so exp. Though it stated that can print 1xxx pieces, I doubt it exceeded 5xx pieces.


Anyone has any recommendation for

1. Mono
2. Print only
3. Printing capacity/month about 500pcs/mth
4. Budget of less than $250 (+/- $30)
5. Requires auto duplex + either LAN or Wireless
6. Cheap black toner, drum and overall maintainence

First 2 years of warranty parts + labours free
Next 2 years of warranty parts free labout $60 charge for onsite $30 for carry in.
Parts including drum fuser printer parts except toners.

For CP305d it is made for heavy usage so warranty 1 year only. But with promo will be come 3 years.
Warranty covers everything except Fuser, Drum, roller and toner. But chances is very hard for you to hit the page yield for all this unless u are using in office.

Woah with ur printing load I can think of one model only Fuji Xerox P3435DN but abit on the high price $378 with $80 ntuc vouchers ( last show price ).

Took a look at Brother HL-2270DW and feel that it's pretty basic but fits all my needs. Do you feel that their toner is priced appropriately?

The Brother printer I have now is on-site warranty, possible to have this offer during PC show?

I meant I take mono then. Lol.. what are the prices for those models? I don't really print a lot. Low user mostly for school stuff or print notes. So mostly will use high quality printing. Duplex I think not a must..

Oh lol. In this case the Brother printer would be sufficient. Nope it is not possible for them to convert the warranty to a on-site warranty. The toner is alright in fact this model together with brother HL-2240D is quite popular. Their compatible toners is also a hot selling model at my side.

What is the diff between HL-2240D and HL-2270DW?

How much are their compatible toners and how reliable is it?

I have used compatible ink for Inkjet printers and they dry up the ink head so fast...spoiling my machine.

Currently it is going for $59 for 1. We only sell high yield models so it would last you for 2.6k pages. It is pretty reliable as it is in powder form. So with the correct storage, it would not dry up. We even did on-site testing for several customers we are afraid before.

We are trying to come out with promos also haha

As for the bad compatible ink experience, it is also one of the reasons why we are still not bringing in ink yet as it is very troublesome
