Hi, my current inkjet printer dries out too fast so i am looking for a cheap mono black/white laser printer whereby i can save cost in the long run!
Hope the experts here can help recommend..thanks in advance!

3. Printing capacity per month - For school purposes only so probably 300 pages a month?

so i assuming u are looking for inkjet and not laser printer right ? definitely ink jet replacement will be cheaper then laser and ink jet is smaller, u can go for Epson L series printers , those refills are really cheap but it doesnt have the wireless printing for fax but without fax there is wireless, or u can go for Brother Ink Benefit Mfc-J2510 those inks are not as cheap as Epson but it has everything u need. Lastly HP 8600 Pro it has everything but very bulky

If print quality go for canon, if low supplies cost go for Brother.

If not go for canon and buy our toners hehe

your requirement that you need is color laser or black and white? if its color than probably its not possible cause the height is definitely taller then what u have shown.

I only recommend the specs and toner prices. I didnt force anybody to purchase Lexmark printer. If its due to the printer model, i can recommend Xerox,samsung or HP. At the end of the day. Its also up to THEM to decide which brand and model to purchase.

Wah, in this case it seems like inkjet is cheaper for even black prints.
Our printing is mainly black with occasional colour. Just to check, for inkjet the colour ink will dry without use after it's installed right? But for toners? Do toners dry up too?

i see u can just go for color laser printer fuji xerox cm305df prints up to 3k for all colors, $649 print scan copy fax double sided printing but doesnt have wireless. original toner $110 for black and $160 for color so color is $160X3 + $110 = $590, but i suppose u dont need to print color so often so probably u just change the black toner only , the size is huge!! hahaha , toner wont dry up , ink if u open the sealed packaging it will dry up there is no way to prevent it from drying up once opened. but laser quality will be better as its sharper
