[Printer] Laser Printer questions lip lai !!!

Hi, I am considering the following 3 models and would like to hear your professional opinion.

- Brother DCP-7060D
- Brother DCP-7055
- Fuji Xerox DocuPrint M205b

My usage will be printing and scanning, duplex good to have but non-essential. Will duplex printing shorten the life of the printer/drum?

Am thinking to connect to home network through print server. Main concern will be the running cost as being haunted by the high maintenance of previous inkjet. Don't mind third party toner if it doesn't damage the printer and works well and economically.

After some proper calculation, I found that if factor in the print server cost and also the hassle of carry-in warranty for the xerox M205b when drum is end-of-life; I might as well go for the Xerox M205f which is network ready and also on-site warranty for 4 years.

Any other better recommendation from other brand than this Xerox model?

I guess you have pretty much figured out what you need. Just go for it! M205f is the best model in its class.

1) mono printing laser
2) copy
3) duplex printing if possible.
4) i dun need scan
5) wireless is a bonus if wireless will spoil easily then wire also can.
6) fuji xerox or brother i read will be better compared to the rest.

As little headache as possible. Can last me 3 yrs i happy liao. If got good customer service it will be.a.dream.

Actually I'm looking at Samsung's CLP-415N but not sure if its a good choice or not.

Inkjet also can if it fits the above requirements with large price difference from CLP-415N.

Both will be desktop printers and the printout is alot for black&white printers. Everyday around 240 sheets of workload for black and white printers. Speed is also good and user friendly.

Has anyone encountered this problem of current image is printed out together with a lighter copy of the previous image on the same page.
Printer not heavily used and less than 1.5 years.
I tried cleaning but does not help.
Do you think the imaging unit is the faulty?
Is it better to replace with a new printer than buying an imaging unit?

Congrats Dont worry bro this is a common problem with Samsuck printer. It is the imaging drum unit problem. Dont bother changing it as it is around $200+ time to go shopping for a new printer already.
