Received my proposal ring images from Vivo Diamonds. Love it! Highly recommend them to anyone looking for proposal ring. Top notch service and extremely patient even though my budget is small in comparison.

anyone knows where you can find Sapphire proposal rings in SG?

Something similar to the one below. Does JP carrry? How to see the grade of Sapphire (if any) ?

hi all, anyone bought half eternity wedding bands for jannpaul before? care to share the price? :s13: my htb and i went to jannpaul yest and paid a deposit for our wedding bands.. mine's a half eternity while his is a simple matt ring wo any diamonds.. total damage $2K+!! *heart pain* hope they turn out nice!

awy we were served by amy and she's a really nice lady.. seems very knowledgeable too when she helped me choose a matching band for my e-ring.. i wanted a channel setting but she recommended another setting so that i can see more of the bling instead of the metal.. in the end i got what she said.. hope i don't regret!

i also requested photos of our wedding bands from her cuz i love the photos they post on their facebook.. anyone know if the photos will write "jannpaul" or "house of hung"? i requested for jannpaul wedding bands when i entered the shop but amy's card is "house of hung".. i am buying jannpaul not house of hung right?? quite confusing heh :s11:

She's part of the JP team and seems like wedding bands are her specialty.
Amy

Or you can try calling them to check

I only saw small sapphire stones used as part of the ring design in JP's FB photos.. but I don't see any of their photos that have the big sapphire rings.. Am thinking of getting a sapphire or ruby ring for my mum's bday..

Bro, seriously? You're comparing SK and JP? There is so much difference on so many levels.. The only company which I think is on par with JP is Goodoldgold.
Haha.. i know different league la.. but it was DhZ85 who was sharing his experiences at SK and JP first..

I dun dare to call myself an expert.. more of an informed shopper.. But really, shld go out there and see for themselves..

Bottom tier retailers: Taka, un-certified diamonds from Citigems, SK etc
Mid-range Retailers: Premium range like rosella, perfect love, true love from SK, Citigems etc or run-of-the-mill diamonds from Soo Kee, Lee Hwa, Poh Kim etc..
Expensive retailers: Destinee, Hearts on Fire, Lazare, Tiffany etc..

Custom jewelers fall somewhere in the mid-range or expensive retailers, with the diamond cost bearing the main portion of costs.

If I were a SMRT bus driver and all I can afford is a lousy Taka diamond, so be it. It is better than taking on unecessary credit to afford a fancy cut diamond from some premium custom jewellers that many posts here seem to falsely market as something for the budget-conscious..

Hi Guys,

Would you happen to know where to buy in SG the leather/velvet jewelry gift box?

Not the LED type.

Hi,

i am very new to Diamond and was quoted the following for 2 diamonds.

Super Ideal Cut
0.78 F VVS2
$9500

Solasfera
0.78 D VS2
$9400

Seems like it's really quite a jump from the quotes that i see from other forumers.
Does VVS2 really command such a high price, is Solasfera worth the extras, are the price a bit high for a 0.78, which stone is more worth it and should i consider other stones?

hate to spoil the market, but i think super ideal cut for $9400 is really expensive. Chop chop chop.

I believe after you have visited JP, you should be well educated and have adequate knowledge to source your own Super Ideal.

I would advise not to limit yourself to just one jeweller, give yourself more options by visiting more jewellers to compare the quality and price.

the 0.78 carat Solasfera seems like a better buy.
D color is great
Clarity need not go to VVS2..VS2 will appear same as VVS2.. so VS2 is great also

I will go for solasfera any time..
in this case with same price, solasfera look like a better buy.
