first visit there.. but totally sold when i compare the quality and price against a same size lazare.. hope i got it right?

Seems like it's really quite a jump from the quotes that i see from other forumers.
Does VVS2 really command such a high price, is Solasfera worth the extras, are the price a bit high for a 0.78, which stone is more worth it and should i consider other stones?

hi i think the solasfera is a very good buy!
mine is a 0.78 too! specs E, VVS2 and it cost $11k+

the price quoted to you is quite attractive... did diamond value drop a little these days?

if you can afford i think it is worth it

hate to spoil the market, but i think super ideal cut for $9400 is really expensive. Chop chop chop.

I believe after you have visited JP, you should be well educated and have adequate knowledge to source your own Super Ideal.

I would advise not to limit yourself to just one jeweller, give yourself more options by visiting more jewellers to compare the quality and price.

Any others to recommend?

the 0.78 carat Solasfera seems like a better buy.
D color is great
Clarity need not go to VVS2..VS2 will appear same as VVS2.. so VS2 is great also

I will go for solasfera any time..
in this case with same price, solasfera look like a better buy.

haha, is it a proposal ring? actually i think it is a matter of personal preference.. if it is a proposal ring, might be best to try and find out what your gf prefer.. e.g. would she rather a big and sparkly diamond, or a smaller but super sparkly diamond..

if u ask me choose between e.g. 0.7 solasfera with super good specs vs 0.8 57 facet diamond with super good specs, of course i prefer 0.8 la, look bigger ma.. and it is still super bling.. lol

and i heard that jp solasfera supposed to be 20-30% more exp than normal 57 facets btw... if you got a lot of $, then buy big and super sparkly lor

eh.. actually that time i went love and co, they also don't have 0.8 ideal cut for me to see.. they say it is more rare/low in stock because the diamond cutters prefer to sacrifice on the cut quality and cut the more popular sizes like 1.0carat.. private jewelers would have more sizes to choose from tho..

You can definitely get a decent enagement ring from Tiffany's at that price. I was at the shop earlier and the sales lady shared that in December they have a better assortment of diamonds. Good luck
