They told me about 4-6 weeks to hand craft the ring. Also depends on your customization and how often you change your mind on the design :s13: I changed my design afew times so mine too longer. If you have a design you want you can just show them. If not, they will suggest some for you.

They got alot of designs to choose from. Then if you want to make changes on their existing design also can. Mine was actually a fusion of 2 of their existing design.

Thx. I need my ring by Sept.. still ok.
Usually wedding bands is buy much later right?

hi all, extreme noob here but thought i shld just ask for some advice. Starting to think about proposing etc.

I know it might sound abit cheapo but my budget is about preferably 1-2k for the ring. We are both quite agreeable on not splurging to much on certain things so can save more for other things that we derive more pleasure in :s13:

Wanna ask
Which shops shld i look at?
What should I be focusing on? The style, carat and etc?
Any ideas to check out her finger size? or do shops provide like "samples" then after proposal if not correct can go back adjust adjust?

appreciate your comments. :)

I'm im not wrong can resize.

First focus on the cut. That's the most important one. Then the size and the rest is up to you.

Would like some opinions :) I'm deciding between the Octagon and Octavia diamond. I'm 50/50 on both. I saw some of you guys have bought the Octagon but there's not much info here on the Octavia. Any opinion on that diamond? I quite like the Octavia step cut pattern. It looks more dazzling in real life.

I took some photos of the diamonds with my hp. Manage to get some under different lights since I read about the store lights effect.. Dunno if this helps or not. haha
I placed a deposit to reserve the Octavia first.

Any comments??

Can PM me the specs you're looking at? My fren is looking at their Octavia too but they don't have the specs he want.

Need some advise, not sure if mentioned before in this thread.

I'm beeb shown a diamond GIA report dated approximately 2years ago (example; xx July 2013), what sort of risk(s) does it possess beside it could be a 2nd hand (which the seller assure is not) ?

I'm curious why the diamond wasnt able to be sold for 2 years.

one of the seller mentioned in this long threat. i do read getting certification is not costly but takes alot of time due to shipping here and there. Is it appropriate to ask for recertification?

Can't imagine after recertification and i don't take that diamond, guess any seller will be like #$%^@$

could be trade-in?

the diamond i bought was certified in Feb-15 when i paid for it in May-15 (already feel fishy why it was not sold for 3 months) :s13:

If the certificate is over a year old or has no date, make arrangements for re-certification.
If this is not possible, at least ask about the diamond's history and inspect the stone under a scope for abrasion around its girdle (the narrow band around the outer circumference of a diamond, where it is held by the jewelry setting).
