Went there couple years back and asked afew diff well known Brand’s if they have ‘super ideal cut’ or any ASET scopes, they don’t understand anything. All of them simply only know how to say color clarity size and GIA cert. I think it’s because of the culture, most mainland people goes there just to buy up lots of diamonds that focus on size color clarity and not cut, hence all their shops doesn’t have knowledge on cutting.

Super happy with the ring! The Solasfera is so pretty and sparkly! When I wear it out, I really get what you guys mean by the many many burst of sparkles.

I tried taking a video of it.. it doesnt really show the full extent of the sparkles. But you can still see quite abit of it!

Its 0.62ct. That time I was deciding between this one of the super ideal.

edit: oh, and my finger size is 5

solasfera is the right side one. i got other videos of it too.. haha. i uploaded them. i got more videos but the rest is abit blur.

super ideal cut good point is the bigger flashes and sparks. solasfera is got many many flashes and sparks but will be smaller. as a whole when i see the diamond from a far distance, i find the solasfera overall can look more sparkly in a way

sharing my experience with JP on changing setting of the ring to a custom designed ring, look for this nice lady - Julie, she managed to helped me get the ring changed in just a short 6 weeks.

especially during this peak season, not sure how she managed to convince the crafter beyond the norms of 3 months.

i did a customised Princess Crown ring, turns out it looked like a Queen's ring, but nvm, it is for my queen

Most will give buyback +/- trade up policies for their own stones. This probably about the best case scenario.

consumers buy @ retail,- but if are selling with no buyback from original company, they will have to be prepared to sell at/below wholesale.

of course no one wants to sell their diamond engagement rings

It was just an idea i had in mind to make the ring more personal and meaningful to us so i just asked her . She said that she had done such customised engravings before and proceed to show us some . There was mickey and minnie mouse , donald duck and his lady . We already got the version1 design of our dog, sadly the band is not big enough to draw the features that perfectly but we can still see some resemblance hahahaha . Heard from Jullie that she draws it herself so she will need more time to practice to get a better feel on how to draw .

Btw, anyone knows if there’s a fresh batch of solarferas in JP? I chose a stone one month ago and am hopefully to upgrade to a bigger one already hahahaha
