Anybody did their white series diamonds without the side diamonds?
Does look rather plain without them.. might be worth topping up $600 for the design?

Which white series you referring too? If its the cushion and oval, I personally think those shapes will look nicer with the side diamonds. The other decagon and round both options is nice.

In particular the oval one haha. I ordered alr but when I got the 3D rendering and the wax figure, it doesn’t look as magnificent as the ones on their instagram.

So far never seen an oval with the side diamonds yet, people here seems to be getting the decagon and Jannpaul advertises the decagon much more.

I bought the white series oval and waiting for them to cut mine out. The oval has a wider spread than the round and will look bigger for its carat. This is a 0.7ct oval on my gf's hand. They're custom cutting me another 0.7ct piece.

We're most likely going to do a pave side diamond design for the oval but waiting for the diamond to be ready first. What your oval specs?

From JannPaul. I’m thinking should I stick with this SIC or go for decagon.

Go for the Decagon if you can wait! It's damn sparkly.

This was the decagon prototype that my gf tried on. Hahaha. We chose the oval for the wider spread and shape. The decagon is super bling. Round shape diamond is also very common. Most girls are wearing round diamond already. If you want something more special then can consider these diff shapes. Anyway, you can't go wrong with their white series. They're all very shiny.

decagon need about 2 months to cut out right? That time i never choose decagon, just that i feel like too long to wait and this SIC seems like a good diamond so i didnt hesitate too much and paid deposit to secure the SIC on beginning of Aug 20. but after keep changing the design and the 3D rendering till now aldy takes more than 2 months. lol

If i go for decagon i need to let go the current SIC. i scare in the end i get lower grade of decagon.

Why did you choose the pave side diamonds instead of their latest side diamonds design?

They quoted me the full range. D-G VVS1 - VS2. Mine is a 0.5ct oval, actual specs to be known later.

Ya. Abt 1-2 months. TBH, I feel decagon dont need to go for a high grade. The diamond itself is going to be brighter which in turn will look whiter. So even G Color is more than good enough. I'd rather trade off a better cut for a lower color/clarity grade.
