Agree the scopes look very nice.. but like I said you may want to go ask them about the incursions at the side because that would be my concern if I were you.. dont worry the JP people are very frank and open with such queries

Sure I doubt there will be much issues though the octagon is a signature cut of JP's. Just be sure to check the incursions to your satisfaction so that you know what you are paying for. I'm getting an octagon myself too

If you compare to to the other higher facets diamond in the market, the Solasfera is a v good buy

The price difference is about 1.2k but the size of the carat is mere difference.

Clarity specs the same? For the price I'm assuming around VS1. Personally, I think upgrades in carat should be at least 0.1 carat. If not the incremental difference is not worth the extra $. If your gf is petite to average ring size, a 0.54 should suffice.

I personally will go for the 0.606 E diamond. I can see the diff between 0.5ct vs 0.6ct thats why I will choose 0.606ct. It really depends whether is it justifiable for you to pay the 1.2k for the jump to 0.606.

What is the clarity grade for both the diamonds?

thanks bro for the help! i am considering between getting this Solasfera or a Super Ideal (my gf says she don't really fancy a 'disco-ball') lol. so may go for a Super Ideal 0.56 E VS1. price wise, it's about 600 reduction. VS Solasfera 0.524 E VS1

Can consider an octagon, not the typical round diamond and yet not as 'disco ball like' as the solesfera
