Pull-ups glorification thread

Normally can do 8-10 pulls for first set but subsequent sets I struggle to do even 6, should I rest more before attempting?

IDK, I dont usually time my rest period...ideally should rest how long?

GENERALLY for lifting exercises..

if u aiming more for maximal strength, 3-5mins.

more for hypertrophy, 60-90s.


if u rest more, of cos u can do more lor. give and that, see what u want to focus on more. getting maximum reps or keeping it intense (via time)/

IDK, I dont usually time my rest period...ideally should rest how long?

I personally prefer 2-3 for strength training.

As for pull-ups, I find it more effective to never go to failure. Try to end each set feeling "fresh". I made good progress using pyramids and static holds.
