Hello, i am back to this thread. Thinking of going Tokyo in 2014 spring, somewhere ard end of cherry blossom period becos dun wan squeeze with the crowds.

Jus wanted to check anyone also going during this period? Wish to semi-travel together, i am scared to travel alone, yet wish to experience travel alone. :p

I am interested in tokyo, hakone, fuji lake and disneyland!!!
First time gng tokyo alone in may. I also want to go to these places except for disneyland.(go amusement park alone like very boring.)

True.. Next month I'm visiting Osaka and Tokyo alone and I'm not going to visit USJ or Disneyland. Maybe I might if I had kaki with me, but the idea of spending an entire day at an amusement park with tons of waiting just doesn't sit well with me :(

y u wanna "feel at home like u are in sg" when u are trying to experience a foreign country?

the best way to truly enjoy a holiday, to get away, is to disconnect urself from the internet, shut off ur phone and resist the urge to check ur email/facebook/whatsapp :D

Hahaha can't resist it
Plus work msg me for help desk too

Internet cafes. Depending on how many hours you stay, price will start from 1500yen or so. Some cafes have free shower, some charge. You can try Karaoke rooms as well.

up to individual and and also preferences + luck of finding like-minded travel partner

I went to disneyland and disneySea alone...actually I travelled alone to Tokyo :s13:
It sure is lonely when everyone around you is in pairs, family and even a group of friends. But it is a different type of feeling which is quite comfortable.
