After 21 mths can recontract again. Such internet is getting cheaper every year. Sometime during fair can get as much as 6 mths waive.

$29.90 pm for 15 mbps? That's ridiculous :s22:

Look, my MORE ridiculous for 10 mbps at $41.64 when my contract ended on 7 Nov. I called them up and after some haggling over unattractive promotions they are offering, I said I am not going to pay the amount in the bill. Finally, they said will terminate the service and they need about 2 weeks to end the service.

After about 15 years with them, I finally switched to SH, paying slightly more for 100 mbps (with home line, 1g mobile BB, hubstation, 16 free channels etc at net price of $29.92 due to 6 mths free) than the $21.16 that I was paying for 10 mbps. Looks like even if ST still offers promotion of $21.16 for 10 mbps, I would switch to SH.

So they didnt mak u pay e 41.64 internet charges, even though yr contract ended and had been using the revised internet charges fr 7 Nov to 11 Nov:s11:

or izzit u jus pay the prorated charges of $41.64?

Anyone taking 15mbps from singnet? Cos I don't need such high speed from fiber broafband..

I suggest u get 100Mbps during coming PC Show as such 100Mbps is only available during show period and still got good dual band router. Even with an old model Samsung Tab 3 also can get wifi speed ~ 80-100 Mbps.

For background info, I got a mailer that says I will enjoy up to 5 months free subscription and $100 handset discount when I re-contract on Fibre.

You can actually call 1688, speak to an operator and ask them to transfer you to retention department.

Another way is to call 62217277 (Sales) and ask whoever to transfer you to retention department.

Initially, the retention department did not offer the $100 handset discount. At most is 7 months free subscription plus waiver of $90 installation. But I managed to include the $100 handset discount because the mailer says so.

Did yr mailer say anyting abt 100mbps plan offerings? Cos like u i tink 200 too much for me

Mobile broadband. Sim card to put in ur tablet or smartphone and you can connect to internet. Only to be used 1Gb data monthly. More than that, you'll be charged extra. :s8:

mine is singtel 6mbps with mobilebroadband still offering 30gb monthly

When's the next PC show and how much is the promo rates? I got the mailer, $34.95 per month for 100M, price is including 3 months free subscription, include 10% discount on mobile subscription and $100 handset discount, but my hp is signed to M1

NEXT week is PC Show 2014. Do search for it.
Your mailer same as last IT Show 2014 promotion.

Thanks, do u happen to know whether upcoming IT show will have even better promo than this current mailer/last IT show promo?

I think coming fair they give at least a dual band N router for 100Mbps plan or better. Dual band is good. My kid has a samsung Tab 3 tablet and can get 80-100Mbps for local speed test and ~22Mbps to Hong Kong speed test server. Very fast for a tablet.

With a Dual band router, your mobile device wifi will be much faster. Mobile speed test can only test to hong kong and no where more far away.
