I have been a SingNet subscriber for 13 years. Since they offer such poor re-contract deal I have terminated my SingNet account. My SingNet 10mbps will end 17/03/14... jumped over to starhub 25mbps. Service will start one week later.

I sign up at starhub shop. You are right. However I want to use back my old motorola cable modem so it takes longer for them to transfer the MAC address to my new account vs activating the new modem on the spot.

Nice one. Performance for cable will go up as more ppl move to fibre. 25M is more than enough for 2 person on Youtube.
Would also like to jump to this one but don have cable point (only got fibre) at home. Worth it to fix a cable point?

Take note, when you terminate the Singnet ADSL line, your Singnet Email account will also be terminated immediately (Not one Month late).
So be prepared to migrate your Email Communication first before cut off.

i did the same thing....cancel ST and sign up SH with 6mth FOC. Installed yesterday. Upgrade from 3mbps to 100mbps. Sign up for a TV HD pack as well. So far so good!

I saw on a road show leaflet. 100mbps. Get 3 mths free. Mthly 39.9. Square 2. Early birds get $50 voucher. Thinking if I should sign up. .. The free basic tv... Phone line... How's Fibre performance compared to cable? Seriously I am happy with the 10mbps... light user. .
