I have the Modded Driver, it is quite huge around 110+MB.
3 Parts to the Driver:
-Activator (it uses a malware vector (harmless if you don't do Delphi) to create the license files)
-Modifed Realtek Driver
-XFi Software
If you want I can upload it.

Things to Note:
You need to access safe mode to run the activator
You need to run the activator as admin account.

Installed Pax_X-Fi MB R248 Win7 driver on an Acer W500 tablet. It works, sounds better than before. The X-Fi software works as well.

Downside: it doesn't stop integrated speaker playback when headphones are plugged in, which is a real bummer for me, as I do a lot of music listening and move watching in the evening.

Music sounds really crisp though, especially on good headphones (I use Sennheiser HD280 Pro and CX 271).

I will try downgrading to 2.21 and see what happens.

Tried a few times but could not get it to work. Keep reporting no supported hardware.

my virus scanner (microsoft security essential) says the downloaded file infected with a virus. False positive?
