what about the MSI magcore 360mm? anyone have had any experience with it?

In my opinion, there is not much difference between most close loop water coolers out there when it comes to cooling capability in most cases. The only outlier is Arctic Liquid Freezer II because they use a significantly thicker radiator as compared to competition. As a result, Arctic have one of the best, if not the best cooling capability of all AIO cooler. Of course the downside is that it may not fit more casing due to the depth of the radiator + fans. And of course if you are RGB fan, then the lack of RGB will deter you from getting it.

1 single PWM cable for the pump + 2 fans. And the whole thing is quiet AF!

It's very rare that it will leak. And if there is a leak, it usually occurs within a week due to bad o-ring seal or clamp. If afraid this or that, then one should just stick to air cooling.

Have experienced old gen asetek aio leak and pump failure before, pc survived if you notice it fast (weird noise when turn on).

Spot on, considering the fact that the price you pay for and if the case allows you to mount thick radiators. That's part of the reason and plus I got mine at only at SGD 95 last year before Arctic is even popular and such.

same as poooooo, had some bad experience with the older generation AIO, thats why I stay off Asetek pump design. however being said. over the generation, some of their pumps are not bad. considering Galahad 360 is one of them. But still, I won't go for aRGB.

I've done some test using aRGB and non aRGB fans on a radiator, the CPU temp goes up with aRGB fans. It might not be very much. 1 to 2 degrees up while I was compiling videos. Then again, at consistence 15 to 30 minutes video compilation at full load, I rather not to accumulate the 1 to 2 degrees which will build up the temperature.

That's why the next best thing to do is to get it from a manufacturer with good track record for quality. The risk is always there for sure, but I don't want to buy a cheap AIO and increase the chance of the risk.

Leaks are less nowadays, and I think pump failure is more likely than leaks. Which is why I prefer air cooling. Recently changed back to an AIO because I am keen to try out the Arctic Liquid Freezer II, and also to free up space around the CPU area in a smaller motherboard and casing.
