[Recommend] Good Mechanical Keyboard

If it is the last keyboard you want to buy, get a leopold. I don't think you can break that thing, it has some attractive colourways for looks too. Not sexy, but you don't need anything else after that.

Sometimes the most important factor might not be totally on the switches or the keys, but the chassis itself could have more influence on the sound and keyfeel.

You can throw ducky into the mix too. I’m using a ducky one 2 bon voyage and it’s built like a tank!

Just got mine and I know what you mean. My primary kb is still my good ol' Filco Minila. Even though it has aged, the built and feel of the kb simply can't compare with Keychron. Even the quality of the ABS keycaps are different.

Overall I think Keychron offers a good balance when you consider quality, features and price.

Yup for the price its very functional with all the modern features, the bluetooth connection and huge battery life, ability of connecting to other 3 mobile devices is useful.

Working great for the price I paid (50+) for the past year. Quite a heavy user using it for daily gaming plus programming and the keys are all still not faded unlike my previous Logitech ones.

Had a spill incident where my cup of tea went all over the board. Plugged out USB straight away and let it dry for a day but the z key died. Luckily remembered they gave 4 extra switches and replacing it fixed the problem!


But, very tempted by the aesthetics of the keyboards seen here

Took out all the keys, cotton bud and hair dryer cuz was thinking can try get rid of evidence and rma

Ducky is nice but lacks bluetooth features. Wanted to get One 2 SF previously but sadly no wireless.

The writeup also indicate

K4 version 2 has full-size functionality in a compact design with 100 necessary keys. The hot-swappable option with preinstalled Gateron Mechanical switches offers the freedom to customize per-key typing experience without soldering.
