I saw this MOUNTAIN Everest Max Keyboard available on Lazada & Shopee sold by Tech Dynamic.

Any comments / reviews / opinions by the pro bros here?? Thinking of getting it on 12/12 to maximize whatever discounts i can get from the platforms

Bought another 1800 layout keyboard, for my fiancee lol.
(or perhaps for myself, give her my wired 1800 layout keyboard and kope the new one instead)

S$68.00 before shipping using Ezbuy's EzShop.
Supposedly RMB289 for barebone kit, with 3x foam included.

Haven't bought any switches or keycaps yet. Considering to try Boba U4Ts, or maybe just go back to using budget Gateron Yellows.

its available on lazada and shopee via a local distributor called tech dynamic i think

I'll wait for 12/12 vouchers before i hoot..... hopefully i can shave off another $30-$50 off the price =P

Cheap budget entry level keyboard lor. Nothing much to complain about. Great for people who want to get into the custom keeb scene but don't wanna spend like $200-300 on it.

I'm interested to get one, but I would like to have Thai char keycap. but I have the following qns, and hope someone can enlighten me.

1) is there a standard socket for all the keycap?

2) how about the switches? does it come with the keycap or the keyboard? or is it bought separately?

1) Most commonly used ones is the Cherry style kind. Signature "+" sign on the keycap.

You also have others for Romer G (Logitech proprietary keycaps) and Topre keycpas.

2) Yes and No. Switches are switches, keycaps are keycaps. Of course there are bundle deals that lets u purchase the keyboard kit + switches + keycaps all together in 1. So yes, as in, switches can come with keycaps if u look for bundle sets. No, as in, no because you usually buy specific switches that u like, and specific keycap sets that you like. Most people just buy them separately.

So for example, I'm currently "aiming" for this particular switch.
Gateron CJ Switches.
RMB134.50 for 35 switches. Excluding shipping.

These don't come with Keycaps, so I have to buy Keycaps separately. And I'm considering to buy either of these 2 keycaps set.

looking at this thread and kenna poison liao, any pros can give some advice?

Currently I am using Anne Pro II and like the linear switches (using Gatereon Red) and PBT keycap texture.

Now I am looking to get GMMK Pro and have some questions:

1) Switches - Thinking of getting C³ Tangerine v2 Linear Switch , any better switches or recommendations?
2) Keycaps - ENJOYPBT Shadow ABS DOUBLESHOT . (personally i prefer the texture of PBT) . any other suggestions?

For the above budget is not a concern but availability is (don't like to wait too long)

For the price I feel it is worth it. I moved on to customised keyboard and that is another type of experience altogether (pun intended)

I must say it's really quite good. I changed out Gateron Yellows and my Everglide Panda Stabilizers to this new keyboard. Used all their foams, did a tempest mod, add in MORE foam in the bottom casing, and it's now way thockier than my previous one.

But the thing that i really need is that this keyboard can use FN+I, O, P for the PrintScreen, ScrollLock and PauseBreak functions. Fn+PgUp becomes Home and Fn+PgDown becomes End. My previous 1800kit don't have all these functions...

Yep, non shine through.
Those keycaps aren't exactly catered to "gamers", hence not being shine through.

Wah quite disappointed with "better' brand keycaps from GMK and ePBT. Both sets I got had warped spacebars.

On the other hand, the AKKO keycaps i got the spacebars were good, but feel-wise not as good as GMK/ePBT.

Found unknown cable,geekcables and FBB in taobao.
FBB got the closest colour i prefer while more expensive than the others, but the cable quality looks better also
