so it's the pcb problem
even so, if the motherboard or PCB are the cause of the problem
At no time will they sell them.
since they are aware that their products' defective electronic designs that will cause them to fail in a few months again.might as well don't sell it anyway
Additionally, some of the warranties on those DIY custom keyboard websites raise some question.A few don't even state anything about the warranty

Keychron is dog poop brand. My K2 battery died after just over a year. Full charge only lasts 15-20mins before it shows battery drained, Rinse repeat after letting it charge to full again. Since then i bought some ali baba brand keyboard on tabao called KZZI and have been using it for almost 2 years. Battery life is still unreal and i only need to charge it once every 3-4 weeks.

That's why i like to shop at Mecha and qwertyqop. Mecha offer full 1yr warranty for KB and qwertyqop cover PCB warranty for 1yr.

Yeah, it's better to avoid those enthusiast brands. In the end, things like a keyboard are still electronics. If they can't get the fundamentals right, there's no point even if it sounds good, feels good, or is very customizable.

A lot of them are really nonsense, I saw that even some 'enthusiast' wired keyboards can measure 20ms, slower than wireless keyboards made by large manufacturers. Is this a joke? :)

Nope. tried diff switches. Double click still exist.
Oops, just saw this, think you need to solder already, maybe just change diode, or reflash the firmware, since the board should support custom firmware.

Those shops also offer only a one-year warranty. Most Keychron users experience issues beyond the warranty period, making it ineffective to offer a one-year warranty instead of two or three years with additional charges for it if they are willing to pledge their manufacturer KB are reliable and good
however, they don't since they are aware that they won't make as much money doing so as the Keychron customer is currently experiencing a lot of issues with the brand right now..More returns and replacements that cost no effective income:spin:

My K2 was bought from Mecha and didn't make a damn difference when all the problems started appearing only once the 1 year warranty period was over. For a keyboard that costs 100+ only to last slightly over a year, i might as well go back to using membrane which are much cheaper and last for years.

I thought Keychron is good, all the youtube reviews say until so good.

Creators are mostly sponsored. Sponsorships usually come with contracts that tell them the dos and don'ts.

Next, most of them don't even have experience working RMA.

Lastly, they change hardware like underwear due to the amount of freebies they get.

Take their words as just their first impression and nothing else.

There are quite a few boards from Taobao now that are much better than Keychron. I am currently using the Rainy75, which I think is very well built for the cost you pay.

If you manage to snatch it off taobao when they launch, you can cop one for about $120 (with shipping) fully built. Else you can just search around for some of the local vendors who carry it in stock.

You can too, it's a choice over warranty or something that has proven to work without issue for couple of yrs. It's all the same for other electronics.

Was looking at this review.

Wanted a wood based keyboard and this seems good sounding out of the box.

For those keyboard enthusiasts here, is this a good choice?

Leobog Hi75 is the cheapest Kb I've ever owned (219 RMB barebone kit), but the quality is exceptional for its price.
Don't even need to waste time modding for it to sound good for an aluminum keyboard.

edit: only mod I did was replaced the ugly stock red knob.

It’s probably the only wooden board you can get that is gasket mounted. You would benefit from a more comfortable typing experience compared to the previous renditions of wooden boards. It's also pretty nice to be honest. I have it in my TB cart, just thinking if I should even entertain the thoughts of getting another one.

However, the keycaps, I dunno, I think it's a either you like it or you hate it kind of thing.

From Akko on TB, it works out to be about $152 include airship to Singapore.

There are 2 models, one with the Akko Piano Switches and one with TTC switches, depends on what you want. The TTC one has nicer keycaps IMO.

The exact one in the video is 699 RMB and the one with nicer keycaps is 599 RMB.

icic the one u mention with nicer keycaps, basically is the one with model name

MU01 Autumn

the other one with piano switches is the model name,

MU01 Mountain Seclusion

So i guess i just order on Akko site directly since if i want the one with piano switches, its cheaper at $145.

anyway that TTC keycaps is the black/brown. but somehow i prefer the akko piano switches keycaps. anyway i not sure how the TTC one sounds. nv even used both before, but i quite like the sound of the piano switches that are reviewed by that youtuber.
