Currently using Ariston water heater (those big water storage type one )..for both bathrooms heating.

Thinking of switching to wall mounted smaller water heaters for both bathrooms.

heard 707 brand is good but I wish to know if there are other brands out there which is quite good also ...

Just chanced upon your post, I did service my water storage heater last year at $130 and I heard from the Maintenance team that it is recommended to service once in every 3 years.

Maybe you can Whatsapp them to schedule for servicing.

U can service if u want to. I can't be bothered. Mine is 5 yrs and its still good. Servicing is to clear any sludge buildup in the tanks that may delay the heating up of water which increases ur electricity bill.

I never thought of service also. It is still good after 5 years and my toilet reno ended up damaged it during the renovation and they replaced the same one for me . I don't think I will bother to service

Anyone using storage water heater 15L? Used to be 25/30/40L water tank, now see many brands has gone small. Is 15L 1500w hot enough for single session shower ( no bathtub) ?

Hi guys, I'm currently renovating my new place and I was researching on different electric water storage heater. Any recommendations for a durable and good (as in fast heating and insulation) electric water storage heater? Price is not key concern as long as it's durable and good.

So far, it seems like Rheem and AOSmith are the better ones?

Rheem and Joven is almost same price and comparable. AOS is tier above. AOS also have more digital feature like temp control etc. Important or not is up to you.
The typical lifespan is 7-8 years is good enough already. Usually after that you need to replace when there is a dripping etc.
More important think is consider the correct capacity, especially if you intend to turn on heater to supply 2 toilet at the same time (min 35L to be effective). If just 1 pax to take, then 25L should be enough.

I don't think any brand will give very long warranty. The warranty usually only cover the tank, but not the labor and parts. You can placed your heater on the "easy to replace" place, so next time when spoilt don't need to hack the false ceiling (if hdb).

Eh so am i, but im leaning towards ao Smith. They gave an instant heater too, but not much i could find on it online - good thing about that is that it can be shared and it looks really good

I was researching and saw this AOSmith Gen 6 Water Heater. I have no idea about electric water storage heater as I have been using instant heater for my entire life. Now moving to new place and will have mixer taps and showers so I guess I need an electric water storage heater.

Which model are you intending to buy?
