It can't be perfect for sure. Nowadays the electronics are not meant to last. If they sell you a fridge that last 20 years like they did in the past, means no biz for them for the next 20 years. Especially when there are so much electronic parts, the failure rate is expected to be high.Samsung one got 2 yrs warranty?
Others just one year?

Regardless of what the salesperson tell you about where the product is made is not going to make a huge difference. For example, I used to have an LG fridge, which was supposedly made in Korea and should be better. It died quietly after about 4 years. My parents bought the highest end Mitsubishi fridge supposedly made in Japan, while it lasted for many years, it also had issues over the years like the ice maker failed, the PCB behind the display failed, etc...
Currently I am using a Panasonic fridge. So far so good, though I am not sure how long it will last. But point is, don't break your head thinking about buying one that is flawless, because you won't be able to find one like this.
