i bought mne from calling in to the saleman from a warehouse & was send from the warehouse..
The showroom i visited was at harvey norman but didnt notice of this.

You might want to go check out the display set again to confirm if it closes. Cause my, even display set closes the door. My model is Hitachi R-VG450P3MS-1.

the hinge of the door is design with something like a lock in which need a little push to go pass it to close the door.... or i would need to swing harder for it to pass that pt to get the door close.

if not the door will be a few cm away from being close.

Will need to go visit the shop to check out the display set.

there a bar in the fridge that state vegetable & dairy product for the air flow. Do i need to push it to the left most or right most for the selection?

Can i choose to push it to the middle ?

will this range out the temp to be in the middle zone?

Both my Hitachi fridges, different generation, have this feature. There is some kind of spring threshold that needs to be crossed in order to close the fridge. I think it is to avoid having a door that looks closed but isn't actually closed. With this threshold, it is obvious if the door isn't close and if sufficient force was applied to cross the threshold, it WILL close the door.

Oh sorry. It's my bad. The Made in Japan models are 3 ticks. I thought they were 4 ticks.

But I ever saw other fridges with 4 ticks. Cannot remember the brand though.
