have read thru all the posts in this thread. basically my choices of brand are left with: (in no particular order)

1) hitachi
2) mitsubishi
3) panasonic
4) sharp

understand most of the comments were saying that it spoilt after warranty mark and since nowadays electronics cycle is fast and why would a company make something so long lasting if they want to earn more?

i also read that hitachi giving alot of problems lately, panasonic quality no longer there, sharp also no good, mitsubishi? seems like no one complain about mitsubishi

Mitsubishi is good. Get the mij models.

bought a Hitachi fridges , notice that the door dont swing back like my old fridges.

Should i adjust the front legs to make it higher so the doors would swing back to close?

Will this affect the hardware of the frdges?

Very cold, cold until my vegetable frozen. Brought last year, so far so good. But one thing I don’t like about Hitachi fridge is the back of it. There’s this drain pan with exposed water. I’m afraid it breed mosquito.

r u door of the fridge able to swing back on it own after u open ?

did u adjust the leg higher when u got the fridge?

No I didn’t, mine I leave it as default, weird that yours don’t close. Have you check the display set, does it close? If so, you should bring this up to your salesperson... :s22:

There’s this container that collects the condensation water, the water is warm, but quite filled up to the edge of the container. Hitachi told me it is fine, it wouldn’t breed mosquito. :s22:
