the salesperson at BD told me the model with primefresh function was assembled in Thailand, parts from Japan. Not sure how many % of its parts are from japan though..

should i have a disclaimer here? haha

Parts are from China to be exacted.

Could pay a little more for MIJ fridge if that’s your concern?

MIJ does not means parts is also MIJ. In USA, it is mandatory to indicate at the product where it is assembly and also parts from varies countries which ever applicable. Singapore does not seem to practice this, some don't even indicate. Eg. lG TV just indicate made by LG. Never say which country is the product come from.

Fridge is the next highest power consumption other then Aircons. If don't have so much food to store. Get a smaller one to save electricity bill.

even a small 2 door Fridge will use at least on average 300kWh.

those who just need the freezer and no need for the bottom side of the Fridge, i suggest chest freezer which for a 140L size, will need only on average 150kWh

Hey guys! Can I get your recommendations on Hitachi RVG 560 or Mitsubishi MR-F55 2 door top freezer fridge (450L) please?

Anyone using it got any experiences to share? We like the hitachi for the glass and cheaper price point ($200 diff).. But sales person (Mega Discount) told us this model got problems.. Looks good only. If I am not wrong it's not made in Japan too, but I not sure if the Mitsu also not MIJ. He said Mitsubishi is best in brand for fridge though.

Appreciate all your inputs!

So we went down to HN at millenia Walk and decided to buy all my appliances at one go. After talking the salesman about Courts promo and the potential GSS coming up, he decided to help us lower the price to match. In fact he said if before delivery, if I find other stores offering lower than what I paid for he will refund the difference. So below is our bulk purchase discounted prices

Panasonic washer dryer cuble NA-D106X1WS -$1620
Mitsubishi fridge MR-B46Z-W -$2420
Dyson V10 absolute -$665
Delivery -$30

PS. If anyone of you know of lower price then this do pm me :s13

I don't know about the RVG560 but I had been using a RV560P7 for about 2 years and touch wood no problem. Anyway what did he say was the problem with the RVG560 or just smoke bomb hand waving?

if i want cheaper option i get the first price.

hitachi has a longer warranty 2 years.

but i read other comment hitachi fruits fly can fly inside.

why not get Mitsubishi Electric. i have not hear any feedback so far at this thread or it could be no one buying Mitsubishi Electric. which is why that the lack of feedback

I have two Hitachi fridges, never had such issue for almost two years so I suspect that complaint, which I saw before I bought either fridges, is really user problem or he just suay somehow got an improperly sealed fridge or something.

Hatichi can skip. I find their build quality is very bad. Just look at those silicon join at those gap. Either easy to com out and not completely sealed.
