Can use phone (via app) to control the temperature of each compartment; if any door not closed, a notification will be sent to your phone; when you are near the fridge, there are sensors that light up an area on the doors for you to touch to open the fridge (no need to open by manual pulling). You can check out the website for more details.

I initially wanted the normal version (without IoT) as it's cheaper and the smart functions don't matter to me. But because the IoT display set was going at $1.9k, it was a no brainer to just hoot
many thanks for your kind explanation on the IoT , yesterday went down to Gain City to ask again and have decided to place a deposit for this machine but white color. Thanks.

More complicated also means in the event that required services, also need more $$ and subject to part availability (especially IOT, it get absolute after few years).

Fridge is something we expect to run it for many years.

I need a bottom freezer type of fridge which i am using it now, panasonic bottom freezer, 6 yrs. Going to change due to not cooling anymore and for bigger size .
So far only found mitsubishi mrcgx56 the bigger size one seems ok. Any recommendation?
Saw many new model panasonic multi doors looks nice but the nottom compartment all meant for vege.
I cant have upper compartment split doors because my kitchen fridge sitting at left corner, left door will hit wall and not easy to access.

Hello Sis & Bros,

My house has a old Hitachi but recently refrigerator temp has some issues & my mum went ahead to bought a Sharp SJ-PG55P2.
1st one came and every day we heard rattling sound & there was condensation on the freezer and refrigerator compartment.
1 to 1 exchange and here comes the 2nd one same model.
1st night the fridge sounded like it wanna take off and for a good 4 hrs!
Now the sound is gone but condensation still happens, my eggs are also perspiring sometimes when I open to do a check.
The water dews are mainly on the duct where the air flows in.
The freezer compartment obvious because it all froze.
Does anyone have this kind of issues and is it normal?

Thanks :)

I get rattling every night with my Hitachi, but I thnk that's the de-icer at work melting the ice and causing them to drop to the water/collection tray. Not sure if same situation as yours.

I don’t get this with my other Hitachi fridge either. But the noisy one does it every night, can always hear the ice dropping. It might have something to do with the location of the fridge I think?

It's very loud to the extend my I can hear it all the way across my entire living room.
It seems to be much quiet now tbh as compared to the first unit where I can hear the rattling sound now and then.
I asked around most of my frens said their fridge is dead silent I even recorded the sound.
But does condensation appears on any of the vents?

Too many things in the fridge, so not worth the trouble. The ice dropping off and rattling is a good sign that the deicer is working. The only time I remember that it didn’t, the freezer started becoming warm intermittently and ice would form on the inner vents. I had to open the back panel in the freezer compartment, break and dislodge the entire block of ice that had formed at the back.

I can hear it from my bedroom which is the furthest room from that fridge :s13:

Nothing wrong externally but if the nightly rattling stop, then eventually ice will form on the vents in the freezer compartment.

I think part of the problem is this is our drinks/snacks/kids food fridge so it gets opened more frequently and more moisture gets into it.

Haha How can you tahan the noise?
I think there's something wrong with your fridge I believe.
My 1st set was the constant rattling and condensation and we got a unit changed.
So I believe this isn't a "normal" issue.

It happens basically just once a night and very briefly as the ice breaks and drops. So we hardly ever notice it nowadays :s13:

I think it's fine if there's no strange phenomenon.
I open my fridge just now I had a glass bird nest and my eggs all can see condensation forming.
Think I got to feedback on this tmr.
