Nami Island
- Venue where shooting for Winter Sonata took place. Very nice scenery though pretty cold.

Hanwah Waterpia
- My wife's favourite place in the trip. Both indoor and outdoor pools in the freezing cold in the park. I didn't bring my camera with me while in the baths, so these were taken from the outside.

Lotteworld
- Huge theme park in Seoul. Lots of fun, rides, and things to do and see in the park. The hotel we stayed in was very impressive.

Everland
- Another major theme park a couple of hours drive outside Seoul. I liked this place better than Lotteworld. Our package gave us access to five of the major rides in the park. They've got a collection of wildlife animals in it too, some of which are housed in exhibits that are as nice as Singapore Zoo.

It depends on how much your package covers. Minimally, you'll want to change at least SGD500 per person, and that's probably absolutely minimal expenditure for things like ski equipment, additional items on the itinenary etc. For actual spending plus the above, change perhaps a total of SGD800 to SGD900 per person. That should cover the above and also things you want to buy, refreshments and additional snacks etc. Food at least is quite expensive compared to Singapore.

actually all meal covered except one lunch......... ski suite and equipment provided.........so i standby $100 for the tips..........btw hotel tips give how much?

maybe i change $600-700 minimum should be enough hor

We didn't give any tips to the hotel; but there were tips given to the tour leader(s) and driver. As to how much, you'll want to check with your tour agent perhaps?

most of the flights are overnight flight, you will check in today ( at night ) and reach incheon tomorrow ( morning ) therefore you only stay 6 night of hotel there.

Seoraksan National Park
- Can't remember how high this mountain is; but we took a cable car to somewhere near the top, then walked / climbed the rest. The view from the peak is magnificent.

Wzierbovsky, did you find your trip a bit rush?

Personally, no. Most of us if not all in the tour group could all arrive back by the stipulated time each time, with just one or two exceptions at the major shopping areas. In fact, on a few stops, we had too much time even. We had early morning calls though; usually at 6 a.m. with check outs at 7 a.m.; but on 4 nights we were at the hotel by 9 p.m., and on two other nights as late as we wanted to. We even had time for 3-4 additional extra places.

Then again, it could just be that our tour group really was a solid one with a great local tour leader who knew each spot inside out and could accurately gauge how much time we'd want to spend in each. I think if you have a big group, or especially with kids, there'll be cases where time is going to drag.
