Recommended Korea Tour package

I'm heading off to Korea this coming Friday. Kind of excited now.
Heard that the internet charges at hotels there are very high, as much as SGD10 per hour. Anyone to clarify that?

someone told me the conversion rate is very good now as compare to past 2 years, is it true? anyone just change recently?

last time i remember was something like $1 to 650won, now is like $1 to 750won.

I going 6D Korea next Fri from 5 stars tour. So sad, didn't book the 8D tour going to Jeju. Can I check is the Gucci and Burberry there cheaper than Singapore?

U can check out sejong hotel, its right beside myeongdong shopping area. Or try pacific hotel, right opposite myeongdong shopping.

Both r within 5 mins of the subway station myeongdong.

Anyone book from Hong Thai Travel?

I heard that they will collect extra for the taxes/fuel.
(Example : Current taxes/fuel is S$300. They will collect S$330)

If there are any differences (or balance) on the day of issuance of the air-ticket,
they will refund back the balance to you.

And they will also levy a admin charge for the refund charge. Is it true?

Really unethical way of doing business. Pay extra and yet being charge admin fee for the refund.

im going to check out the packages at natas airfare this weekend. am going in may/june period.
the cheapest i've got after scouting about previously online and calling up agencies was about 1.05k without airport tax + airport tax its about 1.3k by genting hols.

hope got better deals though hhoho

the best is to go to natas airfare this weekend. there will be many agencies there and you can take your time to check out their tours. but of course there is gonna be loads of people so its better for you to go early.

from what i've heard so far, genting hols, chan bros and hong thai are good agencies but chan bros a tad more expensive due to their good reputation. as for the others such as genting hols and hong thai they are cheaper about 1.3k or lesser per pax (airport tax included) for a trip of around 8 days.

oh yeah my cousin went korea with CTC travel before (also chan bros and some other agencies) and she told me CTC is one of the worse tour agencies, so its better if you dont book a tour with them. she recommends chan bros.

Hi there,

I have just booked myself a tour package with CTS for the korea tour + Shanghai.
Total in all is 7D/5N in korea + JeJu island and 5D/4N in Shanghai.
Total price is S$1348 (inclusive of airport tax)
5stars Hotel in Korea for the 5N and 3stars Hotel in Shanghai.

I have compared with several tour agencies and even those Free & Easy.
Not as attractive as this one.
They should be in the NATAS fair. Do keep a look out for them!!!
Tour leaving end 22nd March, 27th March and April dates.....
I'll be going for the 22nd March.....

why koreas trip are always short of 1 night?? etc like 8d/6n.... or 7d/5n???

usually take night flights out but they count the day for night flight as one day. so basically, only activity for day 1 is changi airport n on the aeroplane.
