I just came back from a 6D4N tour package by Chan Brothers, and really enjoyed myself. Our group was only 14 ppl, so we only got local tour guide. But the local tour guide (his name is Ricky) was really responsible and informative. There was one wheelchair bound elderly in our group which he also took great care of.

We went to Mt Sorak and Seoul, where we took tonnes of photos that amazed our friends. The hotels were really good as well - Sorak Daemyung Resort, Oak Valley Resort (Ski resort) and Seoul Best Western Premier Seoul Garden. The meals were really wonderful. Our package even incl an awesome Nanta show.

All in all, we had great fun and it was worth it (I paid abt $1100 per pax).

I just signed up with Chan Brothers for an 8D tour (Flavor of Korea) during the pre-Natas fair. About $1550 per pax. Was deciding this or Grandeur of Korea ($1900+!!!) but decided the Grandeur tour is a bit too packed, and has no Mt Soerak!

Not sure if it is a good decision; i signed up for Hong Thai's 8D 6N All-In Korea Trip for 1505 per person. Flying end of July 2011. Any comments about the price and the package itself?

Got a question...
anyone knows do tour agencies provide buying/booking of airline tickets/accommodation through them?
is it cheaper?

Just came back from Chan Brothers' tour. Totally worth the money. The tour guide is a local born Chinese, can explain to us the mentality of Koreans and their attitudes and how it differs from Singaporeans and Chinese in general.

Not to mention very knowledgeable about everything from the Geongbok palace (e.g. it was built before the Forbidden City, yknow?) to where to get cheap and good coffee (all Korean restaurants have cheap coffee at 100 won normally).

How much did you pay for the package itself? Is it very packed?
