Agreed that fragment collab is probably overhyped, but i couldnt pass up the chance to own a pair with some help from my bro....

I went to look at the Fragment, besides the "Red Wing Fragment" embossing, I couldn't find anything special...

But the black chrome leather is nice, I think Red Wing is now reserving this leather for special edition.... the normal series doesn't have this anymore...

Hence, am looking for a 8176, but also doesn't seem to exist anywhere...

If so brands such as Chippewa uses Vibram

Red Wing only... already had 2 Iron Rangers... looking for moc (square) toe. The vibram soles are good.

Yup agree. Seek the staff advice. I always belive it's ideal to get first pair from store. Feel it, hear the advice, the extra dollars is worth it

Thanks for the advise. First Iron Ranger but not first Red Wind since I have Red Wing 8138 though. But I think I will just try and buy from local store

Feel and sizing of moctoe compare to round is quite different, really should go try on, listen their advice. My 875 is 5.5E, 8165 is 6D, 8106 is 6D
