Remembered previously at Redmi 6 event they said users feedback 2/16 version has too little RAM and ROM hence the model base started from 3/32. Now they brought back the 2/16 version. Very odd.

Why get the note 7, when redmi 7 cheaper

Basically if from specs it’s about the same as Redmi note 5 pro.

Single to duo tasking. Slight stuttering for FB if you have video auto playing (muted). Good battery life. YouTubing no worries. Forget about games or minimal at Low settings.

Passable bright day light camera. Forget about dim restaurants food taking or night scenes.

Fm radio avail.

Dual Sim with SD card.

Good for TPG for streaming media

If you do light gaming, then can consider getting the Redmi Note 7 (non-Pro). It's more worth the value for a little more top-up.

But the Redmi 7 is able to support dual SIM and micro SD together at once, if you need it then can consider the Redmi 7.

Yeah very slightly worst than rmn5. But rmn5 seems like the better buy , unless u wants the notch

Actually depends on the type of game this bro is looking to play, as most of my friends who are looking at the price range mainly using it as streaming box and also the games they are play usually are moba or 2D rpg strategy game (from China) hence in Low settings should be passable

Most importantly will be the pricing.

Which as I said I think mi Sg miss the boat by pricing the note 7 abv the Sg ppl psychological pricing line of below 300 for a mid range secondary phone.
