hi i bought a xiaomi redmi 7 however i only can see 2.4ghz network but 5ghz network does not appear in my wifi.. anyone have this issue?

Yes, it supports LTE. For TPG VoLTE go to the TPG thread enter the code to disable VoLTE carrier check then can make call using TPG liao.

redmi 7 does not support 5GHz...
so even if your router have 5GHz, your phone also cannot use...

Seems specs quite beast for it's price, read it beats even redmi note 7 on certain aspects of benchmarks and the battery life seems very enduring.

I thought MediaTek processor has very few custom roms? If want to use as it, then ok bah. If want to install custom roms, then Qualcomm may be the better choice.
