Can turn on the triple tap to zoom in the display. Very useful feature yo.

hmm i be curious too... Same, i set the text to the largest.

As my parent isnt tech savvy, only make calls and receive calls, so I group the apps into groups and put them in another page, so they don't splash all over the wall. I feel too many app icons will confuse them. The main screen only have call app, clock widget, lunar calendar widget, and lock screen widget.

Also, i configure the unlock as face recognition, so its easy for them to unlock without having to remember pin, partly because i doubt they will understand which "hole" to place finger for fingerprint unlock too.

The casing I bough looks great until I saw the rear

Only 1/6 of the fingerprint can touch the reader

What flip casing has bigger clearance for the fingerprint reader?

Not going ask my parent to rotate the phone just for that

But I always believe have pin unlock as main, something you or another family member should be able to help remember. Else elderly may just write the pin and paste it on the casing...

I never use flip myself, use silicon back. But I think elderly prefer flip, feel safer protect the screen.

Yea. They prefer flip. I also personally feel flip better protection for them as well.
They need to go out so with mask on, fingerprint is the next easiest for them.

Bought the SP which doesn't cover the screen fully for less than a dollar. Gave my parent preowned 16GB memory card. Good enough to start off.
