now oled screen 6.67" so common .... redmi note 12 , poco x5 ..... no point getting old phone with same price

Perhaps because I'm using the old Miui legacy mode, there isn't much of a difference for me.

Nevertheless, I discovered a vibration issue in the game. Every time I was being attacked, I used to feel a vibration, but I no longer do. However, it does not affects the phone vibration and silent modes.


We're coming to the last update for this phone (I think?), time to source for a new phone. According to the website " https://phoneaqua.com/redmi-note-13-pro-price-in-singapore". The release date for Redmi Note 13 Pro is May 2023.

dun mind can share what issues/bugs u all encounter ?

U know fone manufacturers nowadays

always like to chut pattern after give every updates (esp if its the last updates) in order to "force" ppl bai their newer fones or sent repair and charge exorbitant service fees ie. make your fone lags, make the display screen got problem, make battery drain etc etc

Remember that lady saga with her samseng screen got green line after update ?

Everything is good right now. Except when I'm playing games, I don't get any vibration feedback in game mode and the phone seems much hotter (when gaming).

There are no app lags, and the screen is fine. Battery utilization is essentially the same.

Ok... like @caterham7 has mentioned... there will be sales on Xiaomi phones from their official stores on Lazada and Shopee on 4.4 - 6.4... Poco will have theirs as well on those days... Redmi Note 11 4/128gb will be going for $189 but I'm not sure if 4gb ram is enough anot...

This fone at its EOL updates liao

in fact alr mentioned they had just pushed the "last" major upgrade

so unless u using it as spare or no concerns abt updates/vulnerabilities

else might as well look at other options

There is a Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G which seems to have very similar specs to Redmi Note 10 pro. It's supposed to release in May. So you can watch out to see if that model comes to Singapore.

In case this issue arises for anyone else. In games or apps, there is no vibration feedback.

Simply select "Sound & Vibration" under Settings.
Scroll down and turn on "Haptic feedback".
Set the feedback level to its bare minimum.

After it is complete, you can feel vibration feedback for games and apps. You will feel vibration when you press a key (such as the back or home buttons when typing on a keyboard). [Cant turn this off unfortunately]

I'm still unable to resolve the problem of my phone getting hotter, so I think I'll just have to accept it or find a source for an external cooler.

you can try clean install but that will be quite a job and also risky of losing some your current stuff, although can backup.
