I haven got this problem so far. I did a quick search and found similar problem reported at Reddit. The solution is to force a reboot. (Power + Vol down) or Press and hold Power for 10 sec.

Some mentioned that if the phone is under warranty, could bring to the service center and get new phone.

It's a 2 years phone and last i brought my phone to service centre was due to its screen having no display the first few months. I may consider buying another like poco f4

knn doing updates for phones now is so dangerous.... who else now is very afraid of doing software upgrades to your phone?

If u wanna get F4 better do it quick cos they were clearing stock at v low prices the last time I saw cos of the upcoming F5...

F4 will naturally get more software updates than F3 since it's a newer model..
Hmm now they dun have sales for F4... was $289 when I last saw it on offer... maybe can wait for 5.5 sales.. . Poco official store on Lazada might have it at a similar price...

cannot solve with clear data on camera app
this level of software QC on the core functions of phone

Seems like lately there has been a lot of occurences of phones getting bugs from software updates not only from Xiaomi but also other phone brands...

If one's phone is out of warranty but it gets bricked by an update, is it not covered under any sort of consumer protection?

As i've said previously

now many fone makers chut all kind of stunts in order to force ppl bai their newer fones

Thats why try not to update after your warranty ends

but then

this also doesnt make sense

as you are prone to vulnerabilities

In the end

as consumers u need make ur own choice

Hi, just sharing!

Mi cloud service will be terminated soon, better back up your photo to google photos soon. Otherwise, all data will be wiped.

From October 25, 2022 onwards, Gallery items will no longer be able to be synced to Xiaomi Cloud.

Service termination timeline

Before December 1, 2022

• The option to sync Gallery items to Xiaomi Cloud will become unavailable.
• Xiaomi Cloud memberships will no longer be available for purchases. Existing memberships will be canceled and the most recent membership fee amount will be refunded.
• The option to transfer items to Google Photos or download your data will become available in the Gallery app.

• The window to transfer items to Google Photos will close, and the option to download your data will be taken offline.

Still pretty satisfied with the rmn10p on miui14 basic version fw
I call it basic cos version number different, this is lower and less software func than the other miui14 ones

I'm surprised to receive update for such a phone after so long. It's nice though.

Will probably use it as my daily driver till after 1 battery change, thus total lifespan 5 years.

rmn10p cannot boot , not even hold 30sec volume up/down + power button
plug in 3 different 33w 67w charger also no response , used blow bulb to clear dust in port

now trying to google for solution

previously the power button was abit wonky , not that sensitive 1 click can open the reboot/shutdown 4 buttons
